Is a certificate necessary to apply for the teacher position?

To work as a teacher at One English, having a certificate is a requirement. However, for the initial application, no certificate is explicitly needed. If you lack a certificate but possess the required skills, we're happy to assist you in obtaining one as part of the onboarding process, and it's free of charge.

Is the schedule fixed, and what does that imply?

Yes, your schedule is fixed, meaning it cannot be altered over time. You can only expand the schedule by adding more classes, not changing the allocated time.

What is the minimum number of classes to schedule?

To work as a tutor at One English, you are required to schedule a minimum of 50 classes (25 hours total) per week, distributed across 5 workdays of your choice (10 classes/5 hours per day).

Do we have control over arranging our classes?

Yes, during training, you'll learn how to use the platform to book classes. You have the flexibility to choose your schedule (working hours and days) and organize classes accordingly.

How does the employee bonus program operate?

We don't offer bonuses; the hourly pay is fixed.

Are there designated days off?

You are entitled to 12 to 14 days off annually.

How is the recruitment process structured?

The recruitment process involves a Zoom or Google Meet interview, online training, and a demo class.

Tell me about the training process.

Training includes watching a video, note-taking, and scheduling a session within a week. The training is provided free of charge.

What is the hourly pay?

Hourly pay ranges from $10/hour to $15/hour for 50-minute sessions.
